Small & functional landscaping- Herriman
Whether you have a big or small backyard in Utah or live in an HOA, there are specific considerations you need to follow if you are looking to create a functional area.
The client wanted a small backyard to relax and a shady area to enjoy a meal with friends. However, they had an odd-shaped yard, tight setbacks, and maximum impervious surface area. They needed a company that could think outside the box and develops creative solutions. Previously, they hired a landscaper who didn’t design and repurposed the yard area. That’s when they called us, and the first thing we did, was to create a functional space.
You can beautify your landscape environment, elevate your wellness and provide an extra room to your house.
In addition to this landscape design, we suggested adding small changes to add an extra room to various edges to create a water-wise area. The landscaping design was an essential process. The homeowners required landscaping to match their house aesthetics and HOA rules. Having a reduced room for construction was difficult; for project management timing and labor. Our time efficiency and construction planning were tested during all the project timelines. The construction landscaping areas included paver’s patio, seating areas, and xeriscaping pathways. We also added a white deco vinyl fence. Now, the homeowners will enjoy a comfortable backyard area to hold barbeque parties and late sunset views near the fire pit area.
